Help Chris & Kids Navigate Life Without their Mom & Wife
Donation protected
We are devastated to share the heartbreaking news that about my sister-in-law Erin McCardle, a loving mother of three, was killed in a car accident yesterday. She had been courageously battling an autoimmune disease and Sjögren’s syndrome, but her sudden passing in this tragic accident has left all of us in the family in shock and with unimaginable grief.
My brother-in-law Chris is now left to care for their beautiful children and 2 fur babies as they face life without their mother & without the love of his life. They have three children together—Bailey (20), Hope (15), and Eden (12). Their oldest son is currently serving in the military and is based out in Colorado, trying to make his way home to be with his family during this devastating time.
They had recently purchased a home, hoping to build new memories together, but their world has been turned upside down. We are reaching out to our community, friends, and family for support. The financial burden of funeral expenses, travel costs, and caring for the kids is overwhelming, and Chris is trying to navigate this all while mourning the loss of his wife. If any of you know Erin, you know she was a kind and selfless person who always put others before herself. Whether she was caring for her family, helping a neighbor, or lending a listening ear to a friend, her generous heart touched everyone who knew her. She was the rock of her family, a devoted mother who was deeply involved in the lives of her three children, and would do anything for them. Her love and dedication will always be remembered.
Any donation, no matter the size, will help ease the financial strain and allow Chris to focus on being there for his children as they try to heal from this unimaginable loss.
Your generosity, thoughts, and prayers are deeply appreciated.
You are so loved Erin, and we are already missing you like crazy. This still doesn’t seem real.
