We're About to Lose Our Home – Please Help

Hello friends and family,

This is the last thing I ever wanted to write, but we need help. Chris and I are in a really hard place financially, and we’re dangerously close to losing our home.

Our Etsy shop—the thing that’s supported us for years—has completely dropped off. I’ve been substitute teaching, but with school out for the summer, there’s no work. Chris recently got a job, but they overhired and now he’s only getting 2.5 hours this week. We’re doing everything we can, but it’s just not enough.

On top of everything, we also lost one of our cars, which makes job hunting and even basic errands much harder. Without transportation, getting back to work becomes nearly impossible. It feels like every time we stand up, something knocks us back down.

We’re already behind on bills, and our mortgage is overdue. If we don’t find a way to catch up soon, we could lose our home. The stress is crushing—but we haven’t given up.

We’re asking for help to raise $10,000. That would give us a chance to:

Catch up on the mortgage

Pay a few months of essential bills (electricity, car insurance, etc.)

Replace our lost vehicle so we can get to job interviews and eventually back to work

We’re not the kind of people who ask for help lightly. But right now, we’re out of options. If you’re able to donate—no matter the amount—or even just share this, it would mean the world to us.
