Help Chris Hoy during his recovery from GBS

My name is Kate and I’m starting this Campaign to raise money for my big brother Christopher William Hoy. Recently, Chris was diagnosed with gillian barres syndrome (GBS) In a matter of days Chris went from being in the best shape he’s been since his twenties, to being completely trapped in his own body unable to move. Eventually, unable to breathe on his own. Yesterday I heard my brother’s voice (hoarse) but clear. The amount of relief we felt as a family, is immeasurable. As grateful as we are, less than 24 hours after coming off the ventilator, he’s already communicating the stress of wondering what this is going to cost him. That was heartbreaking. My brother may not be able to cover his bills while he recovers. So while we’ve all been feeling helpless, maybe we can come together and help relieve his stress and let him just focus on regaining his strength and helping his mental health.
