Support Chris During His Recovery:
On Monday, December 22, 2025, Chris was involved in a severe car accident while on his way to work, at USA Racing engines (AKA The WOP shop), where he has been a dedicated employee and building engines for over 25 years now.
On his way to work, a car traveling in the opposite direction, crossed over into his lane and hit him causing a head on collision. As a result of the accident, Chris suffered a broken back and underwent emergency spinal fusion surgery on December 23, 2025. While the surgery was necessary, it marks only the beginning of a long and challenging recovery process.
Chris currently does not have medical insurance or paid time off, and he will be unable to return to work for at least 12 weeks as he focuses on healing. During this time, he is facing overwhelming medical expenses in addition to everyday living costs such as housing, utilities, and basic necessities.
We are asking for support to help alleviate the financial burden Chris and his family are facing. Donations will go toward covering mounting medical bills, rehabilitation needs, and essential living expenses while he is out of work. Every contribution—no matter the size—will make a meaningful difference and allow Chris to focus on recovery without the added stress of financial uncertainty.
If you are unable to donate, your prayers, well wishes, and sharing this fundraiser are deeply appreciated. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this difficult time.
We have been close friends with Chris for over 8 years, I am creating this GoFundMe account to take the burden off of his family. His oldest daughter is the beneficiary on this account and executor of the funds to ensure the funds are used to assist his recovery and this financial burden during this stressful and unforeseen time.
