Hi, my name is Rob Haas, and I am Chris Haas’s brother. I am reaching out to share my brother's story and ask for your help during this challenging time.
On September 23rd, Chris underwent a planned craniotomy and tumor removal at Mayo Hospital in Rochester. Seven years ago, he experienced a brain bleed due to a cavernous malformation, which thankfully resolved on its own with a very low chance of future complications. During that time, an MRI also revealed a tumor on the left side of his brain. Unfortunately, this tumor has grown over the past seven years to a size where doctors recommended its removal.
I’m relieved to share that the surgery was successful, and the doctors were able to completely remove the tumor. Chris is now at home recovering, but the road to recovery is expected to take up to three months, during which he will be unable to work.
We are hoping to raise $10,000 to help cover ongoing medical and living expenses during this time. Your support will not only alleviate some of the financial burden but also provide him with the stability he needs to focus on healing.
Chris has always been there for others, offering support and kindness whenever it was needed. Now it’s our turn to give back to him during this difficult journey.
Please consider donating and sharing this campaign within your network. Every little bit helps, and we are incredibly grateful for your support.
Thank you for caring and for being part of Chris’s journey to recovery.
