Help Chris Gutierrez

Hello, my name is Matt Hoover, I am fundraising for one of my best friends, Chris Gutiérrez. I have had the pleasure of knowing Chris Gutiérrez, his wife Hanna, and his 5 year old son Finn for almost a year now and they are incredible. I work with Chris and can honestly say he is one of the nicest, most generous, hard working and heartfelt friends I have ever had.

Unfortunately tragedy has struck.

Chris is severely sick.

Chris caught Covid-19 and soon after caught pneumonia. Since then he was placed on a ventilator, put into an induced coma, given dialysis THREE times for his kidneys, had a blood embolism, and just recently given a tracheotomy to help him breathe.

We are asking for help for him and his family. Chris will be in the hospital for several more months if not longer and we want Chris to come out not having to worry about anything other than recuperating. We can do this by making donations through this gofundme page. No amount is too small.

Chris is a veteran for the US Airforce, a husband, a father, a Magic the Gathering expert, a comic collector, and a friend to everyone he meets. With the amount of people that know Chris, I don't think a goal of $100,000 is unattainable. If everyone skipped buying comics for one week, didn't buy that new box of magic, skipped that doordash order and ate some ramen noodles and took that money to donate to Chris and his family I think we can really make this and more.
