Hello! My name is Chris, and I am a digital illustrator who recently moved abroad with my husband. Shortly after, my main income source was stopped and we've been working day and night to establish our footing monetarily. Our efforts are amounting to keeping us housed, keeping electricity on and keeping us fed, and as we enter our lowest period, I've now begun experiencing excruciating tooth pain.

This pain is not pain I can ignore - I will need to get an extraction at minimum. My dental situation is bad due to a combination of poor genetic lottery and poor care as a child, though, and an extraction would just kick the can down the road and potentially cause further damage and complications. We've already resolved to wanting to have a full extraction and denture procedure done so that I can get started on enjoying eating earlier in life, but we simply haven't had the funds and opportunity to do so.

Our fortunate circumstance is that we moved to a location that has exceptionally low-cost dental care, so the opportunity to have it taken care of and not be forced into more pain and complications later has never been more available and achievable - we just simply don't have the means, and are now in a situation that forces immediate treatment.
