Help Chris get back on his feet again!

As most of you probably already know, my brother was admitted to the ICU down in Florida with Covid Delta variant back on July 18th where he would stay for about two months. What was supposed to be the happiest weekend of his life (engagement party for him and Alyssa) turned into the scariest and longest two months of our lives. Thankfully with care from the doctors and nurses at Broward Imperial Hospital and with the grace of God, my brother was able to be discharged home after 55 days in the ICU. He was put into medically induced coma for 7 weeks. He had to undergo a few surgeries to place three chest tubes to resolve several pneumothoraces. He also had to have a peg tube placed during his stay so he could be fed. Along with Covid pneumonia, he also contracted a blood infection and rhabdomyolysis which caused him to lose about 70 pounds. We thought we were going to lose him on several occasions. Chris is now home and has since started his road to recovery with the help of speech therapists/physical therapists and support from his angel of a fiancé Alyssa. The road ahead will be a very difficult and long journey, but if any of you know Chris, you know he never gives up on anything. I know life is crazy and we all are going through something in this world but if anyone can help Chris get back on his feet it would be greatly appreciated. I’m setting up a go fund me for him where the money will be used to pay for the hospital bills his insurance was unable to cover/ home equipment/ doctor appointments and just to keep them afloat during this difficult time. He’s unable to fit the criteria for disability and will be unable to work for a while. Let’s try and help reach Chris’s goal to get back on his feet. I will continue to update you on Chris's progress until he makes his full recovery and we get the Chris we all know and love back. If you’re unable to donate any $$ please don’t feel bad. All I ask if to keep him and our families in your prayers during this difficult time.
