We’re fundraising for a one-of-a-kind off-road electric wheelchair for our adventurous little man, Chris — a bright, energetic 6-year-old living with Spina Bifida Myelomeningocele.

Chris has grown to love his independence with his current wheelchair, but he’s quickly outgrowing it. While we’re working with insurance to have a new chair built, it unfortunately isn’t designed for off-road exploration — which is where Chris truly feels alive.

Chris, his parents, and siblings spend as much time as possible exploring the outdoors, whether it’s the beach, creeks, or trails. He loves these adventures, but rough terrain often limits how far he can go on his own.

That’s where Bailey Built Wheelchairs comes in — an incredible California-based company that designs custom off-road electric wheelchairs. This chair would open up a whole new world for Chris, giving him the freedom to explore right alongside his family.

Our goal is simple: to give Chris the same freedom and independence we all enjoy, and to create more unforgettable memories together.
