Help Chris get a new liver and support his family

Hello, my name is Julia Tennihill, and I am starting this GoFundMe for my father (Christopher Tennihill), who is very sick with liver failure. He is currently on the transplant list and awaiting a miracle. I am asking for help because both of my parents are unable to work and will soon be unable to support their family. My mother is working hard day and night to make my dad as comfortable as possible and keep him healthy so he can stay alive and on the transplant list. According to the doctor's warning, my dad is not allowed to be left unattended at all times. My mother had to quit working to be a stay-at-home mother and wife because my father is, unfortunately, unable to help with the kids or around the house. He is unable to work from home either due to his illness. Right now, my family is just hardly making ends meet, but soon the gracious paycheck from my parents' jobs will come to an end. My family will be left with no source of income and will leave both my parents and my two younger school-age brothers without insurance and a source of income. This liver failure is not a self-inflicted illness; it is hereditary. What makes his liver disease worse is that it’s a rare condition called hepatopulmonary syndrome, which keeps his body from absorbing oxygen into his bloodstream. The only known treatment for this disorder is a liver transplant, and the only thing he can do in the meantime is stay tethered to a constant supply of high levels of oxygen while waiting for a new liver.
