Hi, my name is Jessie Rae & I'm writing this on behalf of my very best of friend Christopher Geyer. In the late evening of Sunday or early morning hours of Monday, January 30th, 2023 my best friend's car was stolen while parked right in front of his house in San Leandro. While the thief had his vehicle in possession he took a joy ride across the Bay Bridge to SF, racking up a bill on Fastrak left for Chris to pay. Went to random stores to buy random items, got Chinese food & drove to pick up his mail. But worst of all the thief committed a hit & run & subsequently abandoned the vehicle once he crashed it. OPD had it towed to a local tow yard, where it was held for 72 hours because it was present during the commission of a crime. In the end, this criminal fully totaled Chris' car which he had just bought less than a year prior. Chris essentially got 1k back after paying off what he still owed on the vehicle. He needs a vehicle to get to & from work in Livermore, CA. As well as to drive his elderly Aunt Jacqui to her doctor's appointments, & various errands she needs help with like grocery shopping.

If any of you know Chris Geyer he literally should be the picture in a dictionary next to the word selfless. He always helps those in need and never says no to someone asking for help. He's given countless rides to people not wanting to drive after drinking. Helps pay his friend's phone bills & has given money to his employees so they can fill up their gas tanks & get to work. Please let us help him get his life back on track & put some money down for a car.
