Help Chris Fund His Thesis Film

Hi everyone!

My name is Chris Byrne. I'm about to be a fourth-year MFA Directing Student from DePaul's MFA Film & TV Directing Program, and right now, I'm gearing up for a MAJOR project.

This July, I'm shooting my Thesis project, "Only We Know." It's a story about a young couple's relationship starting to fray as they try an exercise to improve it.

The main inspirations behind this film were watching serval long-term relationships end and the song "A Lick of Paint" by Frightened Rabbit. The song talks about how sometimes people must step back in their relationships to see if it's working. I find the struggle of holding on to something that isn't working such a poignant, but painful theme that I felt the need to make a film about it.
