This Wicked Type Thing update comes with some heavy news. Our lead singer, Chris Inserra, has recently received a diagnosis of stage 3 cancer. While I want to respect his privacy and avoid sharing specific details at this time, I felt it was important to let you know.

Chris is beginning his treatment this week with a dedicated team of medical professionals. This journey will undoubtedly require him to take significant time off, which is particularly challenging considering his physically demanding carpentry work. The financial burden associated with this diagnosis – including medical tests, treatments, and medications – is substantial.

To help alleviate some of this pressure, we’ve created this campaign to support Chris during this difficult time. The goal is to ensure he can focus entirely on his health and recovery without the added worry of financial strain.
