I’m Chris Steele, a songwriter and musician, working on my next album. Over the past year, I’ve been carefully recording, experimenting, and layering songs like Have a Good Day, This is The Bad One, Burn the Ships, Shallow, Fall in the Right Direction, No Jim No, YEG, Everything is OK, and Have You Read the News. Each track explores different moods, textures, and styles—from grungy guitars and funky drums to layered vocals and acoustic overlays—and tells its own story about reflection, playfulness, or longing.
These songs are shaping up beautifully, but to finish them properly I need professional studio time, a producer/engineer, and mixing/mastering support. This is where you can help. Every contribution goes directly to bringing the album to life: recording live drums, overdubs, and polishing every track so it can reach its full potential.
By supporting this project, you’re not just helping me finish an album—you’re helping these songs find their voice, and giving the creative process the room it needs to flourish. I’ll share rough mixes, behind-the-scenes updates, and stories from the studio along the way.
Help me turn this collection of songs into an album that’s fully realized, alive, and ready to be heard.
