Help Chris Fight Stage 4 Thyroid Cancer

Dear Friends and Family,

It feels very humbling to be making this request, but I will do anything for my brother. Our hearts are heavy as we share that Chris has been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic thyroid cancer—a discovery made while he and his wife, Heather, were undergoing routine testing in preparation for IVF. What was supposed to be the start of their journey to parenthood has been complicated by an unexpected battle for his life.

Unfortunately, I know firsthand how grueling thyroid cancer treatment can be, how exhausting the recovery is, and how deeply this disease impacts every part of life. But I also know that having support can make all the difference, and right now, Chris and Heather need all the help they can get.

Why We Need Your Support

Cancer treatment is not only physically and emotionally draining but also financially overwhelming. Chris faces an aggressive treatment plan, including surgery and radioactive iodine, followed by a lifetime of thyroid hormone replacement meds and monitoring for recurrence. And that's just the beginning of his treatment plan, which will include travel to MD Anderson to address possible metastasis to his lungs. He will need to attend appointments, receive treatment, and focus on healing, all while medical bills and daily expenses pile up.

To make things even harder, Chris and Heather have already invested everything they had into IVF, hoping to start their family.
