Help Chris fight his battle against brain cancer.
Donation protected
Hi,
My name is Wes Morehead. I am the pastor of a local church and have been blessed to call Chris Redfern my best friend for the past 50 years. Outside of Jesus and my dad, I have never had a friend so close. I never expected to receive the news that Chris has a cancerous tumor the size of a lemon on the brain. It was a kick in the gut.
However, we are a people with hope. First, Chris has the Lord on his side. So many "But God" moments have taken place, reminding Chris he is not alone. His wife, Michele, has never left his side. He has three tremendous adult children and their spouses to support him. His grandkids, parents, and church family are on his team. And Chris has an excellent medical staff at MD Anderson, Houston, TX, to help him.
However, the type of help Chris needs is overwhelming. Chris will have surgery in Houston on July 25 (the day before his 52nd birthday), recovery time, chemo and radiation treatment, plus numerous doctor appointments in Houston. Without the help of those who love him, Chris will find it hard to rest and heal. Chris cannot work at US Foods, and Michele will not be as free to operate her photography studio. All they should have to worry about is getting better.
- So, help with plane tickets and Uber rides!
- Help with nutritious meals instead of fast food!
- Help with a mortgage and utilities back home!
- Help with bills that Chris and Michele will incur that insurance says no!
- Help Chris with the unexpected!
Join us on Chris' Crusade to help Chris beat cancer!
