My little brother, Chris Cooke, plays for Satellite High’s varsity baseball team. On Wednesday March 10th, at baseball practice, Chris was unfortunately struck by a baseball directly into his temple. This hit shattered his jaw, ear, and temple bones resulting in an epidural hematoma in the brain. He was rushed to the emergency room and had to be airlifted straight to Orlando Regional Medical Center. He was supposed to be discharged early this morning, but due to the severity of the hit, his brain is continuing to swell and bruise. This means he has to stay in the hospital until we know more. This hardship, as we all know, is very expensive but necessary. He is such a strong and caring person, and he is very very scared, as are we. Due to the financial obligations, we really would appreciate any and all help we could get. Asking for help is the last thing we want to do, but we cannot afford all of the hospital expenses, let alone the helicopter lift. Anything helps, please please share and if you can, donate. Chris and our family are so grateful that he is stable and we appreciate the support! Thank you to everyone that has reached out!Organizer and beneficiary
