Dear neighbors, friends, coworkers and clients,
We could really use your help. On February 16 in the middle of the night my son Chris Dutton and his wife Jennifer who live in Hurst Texas had a devastating house fire. With the record breaking cold temps and icy conditions they had endured no electricity, heat and water for 24 hours Within an hour of the electricity coming back on a fire started in the attic and within minutes it had spread throughout the house and quickly engulfed the roof. They barely escaped with their cat and dog. While we are grateful they got out of the home alive, they left with only the clothes on their backs and nothing much else survived the fire and smoke damage. They are overwhelmed and distraught with the loss of all of their possessions. It is daunting and seemingly impossible task to replace 35 years of belongings including wedding and children pictures, clothes, shoes, furniture etc...
It was not enough that Jen got laid off from her job due to COVID in early 2020 but now the financial hardship increases with the loss of everything they own.
If you could find it in your heart to help-any amount of donation would be greatly appreciated. Their rental insurance will cover only a fraction of their losses and without your help I do not think they will be able to recover from this tragedy.
Thank you so much!
