Help Chris Dull & His Family During this Difficult Time

Hi Friends,

My name is Heather (though you may know me better as Moana or Mirabel with the Princesses of Louisville), and I’m raising money for my dear friend Chris Dull and his family. He and his partner work for Crimson Chain Leatherworks at Renaissance faires and conventions all over the country. Chris has been battling medical issues over the course of the year, which has made earnings a heavy burden on his partner's shoulders. Unfortunately, his health has taken a downward turn...

What we know currently is that Chris is in the ICU and there is a slim chance of recovery. Throughout all this, his partner Angela has had to care for him, as well as for the home and life they've made together, on her own. It's also made it next to impossible for him to care for his teenage son that he loves so dearly.

I have a personal goal of raising $10,000 right now to help with both medical and living expenses.

- Medical Expenses: will include some of the costs that they have already incurred including medications and doctor's bills, but will also include future possibilities like surgeries and hospital stays. There is a very real possibility that this might include end-of-life care or funeral expenses. While they may be able to apply for financial aid through the hospitals themselves and with nonprofits in our community, these rarely cover 100% of accumulated expenses.

- Living Expenses: are urgent! Angela has been the sole earner in their household for several months now, and with more extensive care needed, that means no income for an unforeseen amount of time. Life does not stop, even in our bleakest times, so there are still groceries to buy and rent to pay. Other lives need caring for as well, namely Chris' son, and his and Angela's fur babies.

I will try to keep folks updated as best as I can throughout this uncertain time, but I will also respect Chris and his family's right to privacy.
