Help Chris Covert with his battle

Hi I am Samantha Pinca and I am fundraising for my brother, Chris, who is a disabled Navy Veteran who served 2 tours in Iraq and has been battling health issues that are complications from cancer. We originally thought he was cured of 2 years ago when he had surgery to remove the cancer. In June he had a hernia repair that was extensive. Since then he has been unable to eat solid food and has been relying on a liquid diet. He has been unable to eat properly and has been in and out of the hospital now since October 31st. Currently he has now being treated by Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in Manhattan. His wife has started receiving bills from when he went into the hospital October 31st and now she is struggling with the travel expense of Chris being in Manhattan. Chris will be receiving chemo treatments often and other medical care from Sloan Kettering. Unfortunately we do not know the length of time he will need to be transported back and forth or how long he will be in treatment. If anyone has it in their heart to donate to help the family it will be much appreciated.
