And beyond this embarrassment of talent ... he's a deeply loved friend.
Sadly, Chris was recently diagnosed with aggressive cancer. His spine has been badly damaged, and needs to be surgically reinforced by titanium rods. His mobility will be permanently restricted. Once his spine is stabilized, he will need to endure radiation/chemo to battle the cancer. As you might expect, Chris is hopeful. But he's also prepared for a difficult and lengthy recovery.
Comfy is facing intense tests and procedures, material medical expenses, and permanent limitations in his ability to work. If you can spare a little extra, he would deeply appreciate it.
Proceeds from this GoFundMe will go primarily to cover his non-medical expenses during recovery. Rent, insurance, food, ride services, whatever allows Chris to focus on his health and recovery.
The road ahead isn't fully known. Challenges will surface. But we will be there, as a collective, to (as Chris would say in his unique Comfy falsetto) "kick them in the ding-ding".
