Greetings Family, Friends, and Colleagues of Chris Buell.

Chris contacted me after Christmas to inform me that his pancreatitis has returned, but this time in a more aggressive form: he has been diagnosed with nephritic pancreatitis.

The internet tells me that necrotizing pancreatitis is a complication of acute pancreatitis in which part of your pancreas dies. This can happen when pancreatitis is very severe. Pancreatitis is inflammation and swelling in your pancreas, usually in response to an injury or toxins. Severe inflammation can stop the blood flow to your pancreas tissues (ischemia), causing tissue death (necrosis). This is a serious development.

To recover, Chris will need intensive medical care, a potentially long stay in the hospital, and a long recovery. For those that know Chris, beyond the fact that he is a great guy and a true family man, he is not the type to ask for help. But as a sole proprietor of his drafting business, his road to recovery will put a strain on his family's finances. Because Chris would not ask himself, I will do it on this behalf: please consider making a final contribution to help him defer some of his medical expenses and to provide a means of financial support while he is treated and recovers.

Any amount will help, and I know that Chris and his wife Rose, and children Camille, Marie, and Arianna, will appreciate and be truly thankful for whatever donation you are able to make.
