I am heartbroken to reach out on behalf of the Brown family as they have been through so much already.
On Wednesday evening while playing the sport he loves the most, basketball, our beloved friend Chris Brown suffered a brain injury, a hemorrhagic stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage. He very nearly died. He has been transferred out of ICU to the Neuro step down unit. Chris has experienced a loss of hearing in both ears accompanied by severe tinnitus— a loud ringing in his ears that prevents him from resting or even thinking clearly. He continues to experience severe intensified headaches, complete loss of balance, visual disturbances, and other neurological symptoms.
We ask that you continue to pray for Chris that God will relieve the severe headaches and neurological symptoms that he is experiencing. Pray for his spirit to be strengthened daily as he fights to recover. We don't always understand God's ways but we know from God's word that he has promised to work all things for our good.
As you can imagine, this has been an extremely difficult time for Maraya. She has been standing by Chris while also taking care of two children and her live-in mother which has late stage demential. On top of that Maraya is also working a full time job which comes with long shifts during the late hours.
Thankfully Chris has medical insurance but it only covers part of his care and some therapies. These costs include not only his living accommodations and care, but also multiple therapies that give him the best chance possible to regain some of what he has lost - including physical therapy.
When faced with a battle like this, the last worry on their mind should be a financial one.
Any donation can help to take the financial pressure and stress off of the family. All donations go directly to Chris.
Thank you so much in advance, your support is hugely appreciated.
Lord, please hear our prayers. We plead that you bring Chris back into full health so that he can be with his family.
