Help Chris bounce back from 2nd flood in Lismore

We just drove essential supplies up to Chris in North Lismore as he returned to his home there. We had a couple of days to get things in order with him, and talk about what had happened and how things might move forward as the situation settled.

 

It was devastating when we got the evacuation order on Monday night. We had to tear down what had been set up and move it to safety. Yet again, the floods greatly surpassed prediction, and Chris's peaceful dwelling is flooded and unreachable.

 

Chris is warm and nurturing, a musician, a father, and a part of the Lismore community and the Australian music scene. His kindness and generosity in our evacuation experience were profound, and we appreciated his calming words soothing neighbours and friends as the rain set in.

 

This support will help Chris repair and maintain the property that he shares with his son. It will allow him to fix his vehicle, which is still undertaking repairs from the previous flood.
