Most of you are likely connected to Chris Boeltl through hockey. He has owned and operated Minnesota Performance Hockey (MPH) for nearly 10 years and has coached in some form for 25 years. I found it impossible to guess how many kids he has coached, but he has positively impacted many, many kids and their families on and off the ice.
Chris often takes care of others before himself. He loves his work, so he has been reluctant to take a break to care for himself. However, Chris has a serious and immediate medical need for which he will be receiving treatment. Today, Aug 27th, Chris will undergo open heart surgery to replace an aortic valve. Chris expects to spend about a week recovering in the hospital and expects to be away from the rink for a few months.
The funds raised will be used to support Chris and Aileen with medical expenses, household needs, and any other unexpected expenses while he is out of work. I know the MN hockey community and beyond has a tremendous amount of gratitude for Chris. Your contribution at any level is very much appreciated.
