We come to you with heavy hearts and a deep sense of urgency, seeking your support for our dear friend Chris, a vibrant 30-year-old woman and dedicated nurse who is bravely facing the daunting challenges of a rare form of stage 3 breast cancer. Chris’s journey began with an unexpected diagnosis that has not only shaken her world but has also ignited a fierce determination to conquer this formidable adversary. In the spirit of hope and solidarity, we have launched this GoFundMe campaign to rally around Chris as she undergoes the rigorous treatments necessary to beat cancer and reclaim her life.
As a nurse, Chris has dedicated her life to caring for others, and now she needs our collective strength and support more than ever. She's a loving daughter, an amazing sister, and a loyal friend who has always been there for others. Now, it's our turn to be there for her. In the face of this rare and aggressive cancer, Chris’s spirit remains unbroken, and we are inspired by her resilience. As we join forces to lift her spirits, we aim to alleviate the financial burden that comes with medical bills, treatments, and other unforeseen expenses.
Prior to receiving her diagnosis, Chris was in grad school full time to become an anesthesiologist assistant and relying on loans to pay for living expenses. Because she is now on a medical leave of absence until next fall, she is of course no longer receiving any loan payments. Our goal is to ensure Chris has the means to access the best possible medical care, focus on her recovery, and emerge from this challenge stronger than ever. Every donation, no matter how small, will contribute to Chris’s well-being and bring us one step closer to our shared goal of seeing her cancer-free.
