Dear friends,
It has been two years since our friend and brother Chris Pacifico was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Chris has battled through multiple sessions of chemotherapy, radiation, a bone marrow transplant, and an experimental treatment in Seattle.
We thank you for your unceasing prayers and generous support which have sustained Chris, Gina, and their family during the highs and lows of their battle against leukemia.
Unfortunately, traditional cancer treatment has not worked for Chris and now they are running a race against time to try another treatment for Chris, who has been given three weeks to live by traditional doctors.
Through their research and visit, a hope has been given them through Hope4Cancer, a holistic and integrative cancer treatment facility in Mexico. You can get more information on their approach to cancer treatment and the many testimonials to their success at hope4cancer.com.
The treatment plan for Chris will cost them $50,000 which has to be paid up front. This includes the cost of board and lodging for one caregiver. At this stage in their fight for Chris' life, their finances have been depleted. Chris hopes to start this treatment the earliest time possible.
To help them fund this treatment, we, their sisters and brothers in the Lord, have set-up this fundraiser with the goal of raising enough to admit Chris to the Hope4Cancer Treatment Facility. We are appealing to your generosity to please keep hope alive for Chris and Gina.
It is our fervent wish that with your prayers and generosity, we may be able to give Chris a chance and beat Leukemia.
For those who do not know them, Chris and Gina are trusted lay leaders of St. Francis of Assisi in San Jose, CA – serving in the parish faith formation, its Filipino ministry and as choir and liturgical ministers. Their humility and love for others are clearly manifested in their generosity and joy as they serve the parish and our community of Couples for Christ (CFC).
