Chris Andrews is a wonderful man. He is 45 years old and was just diagnosed with Stage 4 gastrointestinal adenosarcoma cancer that has metastasized to his lungs and abdomen. This diagnosis came from out of nowhere. He went in for a CT of his abdomen and chest last Friday (due to sudden weight loss and nausea over the past month) and his world immediately changed. Chris has 2 young children ages 5 and 7 and a lovely wife.

He has been a hands on stay at home dad the majority of his children’s lives.

Their cancer battle is just beginning and much is still unknown. But what is certain is they don’t deserve to drown in medical bills or waste any time worried about money. Jennie and Chris have thrown good karma into the world. They are fabulous parents, fabulous friends and just downright good people. Let’s lift them up, cocoon them in community strength. Any amount is appreciated and will help them cover medical expenses, childcare and groceries while Jennie will be taking at least 3 months of family medical leave. Jennie has been a registered nurse for 16 years. Taking care of people is in her blood. It’s our turn to help take care of her now and to help Chris courageously battle cancer knowing he has an army of supporters behind him and his family.
