Help Chris and Sam with living expenses after flood
Donation protected
Fairywood Forest school was founded in 2017 by Chris and Sam. For the past 8 years they have dedicated their time to creating a magical outdoor learning experience with children ages 2-13 in the forests of Southern Indiana. On June 29th they experienced an extreme and unprecedented flash flood that destroyed their walking bridge across the creek, along with some other damage to their vehicles and the property. The bridge was the only way for them and their students and families to safely access their home and the forest school area.
Unfortunately, they now have to close down Fairywood Forest School because it is too costly and impractical to build a new bridge to withstand flooding and Chris and Sam can't continue operating a forest school in a place that floods. Fairywood was their only source of income, which they will no longer have, after this sudden and unexpected disaster. They are asking for financial help to cover living expenses for the month of August while they figure out what they will do next. Please consider donating here or through Venmo @fairywoodforestschool. Every bit helps and is much appreciated. Thank you.
