Help Chris and Kasia After Eaton Fire

Chris and Kasia are recent newlyweds who spent more than a year looking for their dream house in their beloved Altadena neighborhood. After more than 2 dozen offers and losing out on countless homes, they finally closed on their dream home, moved all their worldly possessions into the home, and started a beautiful new chapter. Unfortunately, that chapter was short-lived because on January 7, the Eaton Fire broke out and quickly consumed everything in its path, including their entire neighborhood. Because the fire moved so swiftly through the middle of the night, the 3 am mandatory evacuation didn't leave them with time to pack up any belongings and they are left needing everything. While some things are simply not replaceable, like family heirlooms, we can help them with the basics while they focus on getting through the aftermath.

Chris and Kasia are remaining positive, noting first and foremost that they are grateful to be safe, but it doesn't lessen the reality that they have a long road ahead to rebuild before they will be able to experience any sense of normalcy again.

Chris and Kasia have been friends of ours for many years. Jamie and Kasia met at a PR agency more than a decade ago and Chris even officiated our wedding a year ago. We can't imagine life without these two and this is one small gesture to help our friends begin healing after this tragedy.
