Hi! My name is Rae. The picture you see is my brother Joe and his wife Chris. This story is about Chris. This couple has been married almost 49 years. They have three beautiful daughters and two great grandchildren. You would think everything in their life has been perfect,but it hasn't.

Let's talk about Chris,since this is for her. She is an extraordinary family party planner and an extremely great cookie baker. But she and my brother have faced many hardships in their marriage that may have destroyed other couples,but their love for each other has seen

them through it all. The loss of a child,Joe losing his leg and Chris herself with dialysis and a kidney transplant.

Okay, that's a little back story for you. Now the reason for this page. Chris and her three daughters went on a cruise together a week ago. She became ill aboard ship and was tended to. When they reached Cozumel she was very ill. They admitted ger to the hospital there. She is still in the hospital and they are trying to make her strong enough to travel. She has been given fluids and also temporary dialysis to keep the strain of her transplant. Her youngest is with her,the two other girls are going back to port and then driving back home. The problem is that all these medical expenses aren't covered and it's already starting to get out of control. For my brother to fly her home is $58000 and to get her from Cozumel to Galveston is $28000. These cost do not include hospital stay or treatment she received aboard the ship.
