Help Chris and Jenn Mitchell After House Fire

On July 31, 2025, our dear friends and Howell neighbors, Chris and Jennifer Mitchell, experienced a devastating house fire that resulted in a loss of their home and all of their belongings. Thankfully, everyone escaped and is safe, but they are now facing the daunting task of trying to rebuild their lives from scratch.

The fire has left them without a place to live, clothing, and basic necessities. We’re asking the community for support during this difficult time; every donation helps.

Chris and Jenn have been long-time residents of Howell. They raised their boys in the town and are incredible friends and neighbors here in Howell and in Ocean Grove, where they grew up. They are the first people to show up with a pot of soup or a helping hand when someone is in need. We need to help them. Please spread the word, share this page, and donate what you can. These wonderful people left their home in the early hours of the morning with the pajamas on their backs and one cell phone.
