To everyone who has had the pleasure to know or have Chris Brereton in their life, with our deepest and heavy hearts we are sharing the heartbreaking news we have received.

If you know Chris, you would know she is a much loved member of the Dorrigo community and she would do anything for anyone. She has the biggest heart and is such a genuine, loving person to everyone she knows. A pillar of support for all- especially her family.

Chris was suffering from headaches and was taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital in an ambulance where they found a bleed on her brain. From there she was sedated and flown straight to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, which is a long way from home in Dorrigo. An MRI was done in Newcastle which resulted in the most devastating news that showed a mass on Chris' brain. Still awaiting biopsy results, however, they believe the mass is a Glioblastoma which is an aggressive stage 4 cancer. The location that it is in, is unfortunately inoperable- the worst news we could receive.

This has come as such a devastating blow to the family who have been by her side since Sunday 19th of October.

We are raising funds to help support Trev, Ash and Dave with the costs associated with Chris' journey and all of the hurdles that will be faced ahead.
