Help Chris (and Chicagoland) at the Chicago 13.1
Donation protected
Hi friends. So I've been running this year. It had been over a decade since I hit the pavement and needed a change in 2024. I've loved every moment of it and have hit milestones I couldn't even have imagined in my younger days.
And now I plan to run the Chicago 13.1 on Sunday, June 9 (https://www.chicago13point1.com/). Shoes are laced, bright orange shorts procured. Unfortunately, I need to raise some money for charity at short notice in order to qualify! Could you help out? Even just $5 or $10 would be a huge help. If you donate, you can convince me to do or wear something stupid during the race. I'll send proof.
ALL money raised by this campaign will be donated to the Chicago Area Runners Association (https://www.cararuns.org/), a non-profit organization committed to serving and advocating for the local running community. CARA is the nation’s third-largest running club, serving as the voice of local runners, as well as providing over 1,300 dates of programming and events per year.
Thank you so much for taking the time to check this out.
