Chris is someone who has always been there for others, quietly working hard and caring deeply for his family, his dogs, and his BLM rescued mustangs. Recently, his life changed in an instant when a tragic accident occurred while he was training one of his mustangs. The horse reared unexpectedly, fell back, falling on him, crushing his ribs. He was rushed to the nearest hospital, then life-flighted to a higher care trauma center. Chris is now in the ICU with 12 broken ribs, a punctured lung with a chest tube, and awaiting surgery to clear the fluid in his chest cavity and find the cause of fluid and blood build up. He will spend weeks in the hospital and many months of recovery once he is home. He faces a long and difficult road to get back to life as he knew it.

This accident has not only caused immense pain and worry for Chris and his wife, Allison, but it has also created a heavy financial burden. The medical bills are mounting quickly, and with Chris unable to work, everyday expenses and the care of his beloved mustangs are overwhelming.

Allison will continue to do all she can to keep things going, but she simply cannot do it alone.
