Chris is a proud Army veteran and former Green Beret who has always put others before himself. After serving his country and being awarded a Purple Heart, he turned down recognition because he never wanted pity or special treatment. Now, Chris is facing some of the toughest challenges of his life. He’s struggling with PTSD and depression, and the weight of medical bills, DMV fees, and everyday expenses has made it nearly impossible for him to move forward. Without a driver’s license, he can’t get to work or school, and he’s fighting to keep up with his house payments and basic bills.

Despite everything, Chris’s dream is to get back on his feet and return to a life of service—either as a firefighter or in another role where he can help others.
