Help Choop get cancer treatment

Hi, my name is Steve, and this is my best friend, Choop. A few days ago I took Choop to the vet due to some lethargy and vomiting. Yesterday, they confirmed my worst fears: Choop has lymphoma. I'm in shock; she's only five, and now I'm terrified she won't make it to six.

Finding Choop was one of the great blessings of my life. She and her sibling had been dumped by the side of the road; they were less than two months old. I was too late to save the sibling, but I was able to save Choop. She was terrified, but I managed to throw a towel over her and take her home.

I fed her from my hand, and slowly she stopped shivering and learned to trust me. I wasn't ready for a cat; I was about to move halfway across the country. I'd thought maybe I could put her up for adoption, but Choop had other ideas. I'd been chosen.

From that day on she's hardly left my side. Choop is everything you could ever want in a cat, or a companion: she's curious, quirky, intelligent, cuddly, feisty, inquisitive, derpy, brave, and so, so loving. She sits on my chest when I'm reading in bed, and loves to attend work meetings on my lap. She's a born investigator and a connoisseur of sits.

She's never afraid to help out around the house...

From the day she opened her heart to me, Choop has given me more joy than I knew a little cat could give. She's both my roommate's and my girlfriend's first real pet and has touched the lives of everyone she's met.

I thought we would have many more years together, but suddenly, she's very sick. Without any treatment, she has just a few months. Even with treatment, her prospects are dire, but we caught this thing while she is still playing and eating and living her kitty life, and the right treatment could make all the difference.

And that's why I'm here. The types of tests that are needed are expensive. Chemotherapy is expensive. Everything about this horrible process is expensive, and I'm struggling to figure out how I'm going to pay. But I have to try. Choop is worth it.
