I've been very anxious and stressed since Sunday. When I came home, Chonks once again had a rectal prolapse. After bringing her to the vet at least 2 times for this before, we discussed a better, permanent solution.

Her prolapse was due to bladder stones that did not go away after switching her diet and just before she was scheduled to get xrays to check the progression of said stones. The doctor suggested performing surgery to stitch her colon to her abdomen to widen it (bc it was so small+remove the stones, and then finally handle the prolapse. Without stitching the two tissues together she would simply keep having prolapses. I left her overnight with the Vet Monday-Wednesday night, picking her up this evening (Thursday) +

This trip to the vet has racked up to just a little over $4,000.

I don't particularly like to ask for money and such from people. I'm still relatively overwhelmed from all of this happening so quickly. I'll be posting a gofundme later tonight if anyone would be willing to help.Aside from that, most of whatever income (both jobs, twitch, and selling handmade items) I have will be going towards paying this, as well as her prior visit. She is recovering well and taking her medication as needed. Her check-up is in two weeks. I will keep updates as necessary.
