Help Chonk Recover from a Vicious Attack

Hi, my name is Dawn and the handsome ginger fellow is Chonk.

On Saturday, April 26, Chonk was viciously attacked by 3 stray dogs. My neighbor heard the commotion and scared the dogs away, but Chonk had already been mauled quite badly, so I immediately drove him to the emergency vet. I did not expect him to make it as he was badly injured and his breathing was labored. Upon arrival, he was taken in immediately, and I was told the prognosis was poor. I asked the vet to do everything he could. Chonk had surgery, and he survived. He is still not out of danger because he suffers from edema in his lungs due to trauma and must remain in the hospital until his lungs clear.

Please help this handsome, brave, sweet boy make a full recovery.
