Help Chona with her fight with Breast Cancer!

Hi all,
I have decided to start a gofundme page for one of my dear friends Chona Manayan from the Philippines.
It was only brought to my attention a few weeks ago that Chona unfortunately has contracted Stage 3 Breast Cancer.
She has already undergone surgery to remove the cancerous tumor and she is still currently recovering from surgery. As part of her road to recovery her doctors have recommended that she take cancer’s natural course of treatment and have several rounds of Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy also. Whilst the initial removal of the cancer by surgery was a success, she still has a long and difficult road ahead with the chemo and radiotherapy treatments.
Being in the Philippines, access to medical assistance is limited and medical cover for cancer treatment is an out of pocket expense. She has no health cover and is looking at medical bills totaling approximately 350,000 PHP (9,000 AUD) for the chemo and radiotherapy.
To make matters worse, as she has had to take a significant time off work, Chona is currently not working and has no employment. She is also the main bread winner of the family and is also trying to support her 88 year old mother and her sister.
I have known Chona for the best part of 6-7 years now. She was an integral part of the Finance team in GHD Philippines and she was one of key cogs in our start up of the GHD Cebu Office. She is a dedicated individual, loyal, extremely hard working and a good and honest soul - all the skills and traits that you want in both a co worker and a friend.
I understand with the current situation with regards to COVID, everyone is doing it a little tough at the moment, but if you could find it in your heart to help Chona out, I’m sure she and her family would greatly appreciate this and so would I.
