I am raising funds on behalf of Liseth and Viche Canao to support victims of the devastating 7.4 magnitude earthquake that struck Choco, Colombia, a country near and dear to me personally and where I have many close friends, this morning,. Colombia is a place that is very near and dear to me and them personally, and it is heartbreaking to see so many families and communities facing such overwhelming loss. Since I am back and California, Liseth and the Viche Canao team are collecting donations in Medellin. Unfortunately, GoFundme campaign funds cannot be donated directly to Colombia, so 100% of the funds raised through this campaign will be transferred directly to buy the critical supplies and sent to the Viche Canao collection site.

The death toll has already risen above 100 and continues to climb, while many buildings have been destroyed, including homes in some of the most neglected communities. In the middle of this tragedy, many people have been left without shelter and without access to basic necessities.

All donations from this fundraiser will go directly toward relief efforts for those affected. Liseth and Viche Canao will withdraw the funds in the US and make sure they are used to provide food, water, medical supplies, and other critical items for people in urgent need in Choco.
