Chochi is my chihuahua, I rescued her almost eight years ago. She’s the biggest sweetheart you’ll ever meet , she’s friendly, energetic, and always ready to bring a smile to anyone’s face. She’s my literal soulmate, and I can’t imagine life without her.

Last Friday, Chochi suddenly developed a high fever, followed by diarrhea and vomiting. She became extremely lethargic and hardly touched her food. The most alarming change has been the onset of seizures, which have left her very weak and struggling to walk. I rushed her to the vet, where they ran a series of tests. Thankfully, she tested negative for Ehrlichiosis, Anaplasmosis, Lyme Disease, and Heartworms, but the cause of her seizures remains a mystery. Her Vet advised the next step is to see a neurologist for possible brain tumors, which can be very expensive, but it’s the only way to get her the answers and treatment she desperately needs.

I’ve never been one to ask for help, But Chochi is my best friend, and seeing her confused and in pain has broken my heart. I will do anything to get her the help she needs.
