This will be my dorm

My name is Chloie, and I’m about to start my journey at the University of Dayton through the Sinclair Academy, pursuing pre-medicine. My dream has always been to help others through science, inspired by my own experience when doctors reassured me during a difficult time in my life. That support made me realize how much of a difference compassionate care can make, and I want to give that same hope to others one day.

This fall, I’m facing a unique challenge. My family is moving to Kentucky, which means I’ll be on my own as I start college. I’ve worked hard to save, but with rent, food, and book costs, it’s become impossible to cover everything by myself. I don’t have a support system to fall back on, and asking for help is not easy for me. But I’m determined to make my dream of attending my chosen school a reality, and this fundraiser is my last hope to secure housing and basic needs before classes begin.

Every contribution will go directly toward my housing, food, and books so I can focus on my studies and make the most of this opportunity. I’m grateful for any support, and I hope to pay it forward in the future as I work toward becoming a doctor. Thank you for believing in me and helping me take this important step. My housing and meal plan, unfortunately I planned to be accepted to this college and go there before I even found out about my mom moving to Kentucky after all that, I was shattered. But I won’t give up, even using this as my last resort.
