We are here because we need help from your generous heart, but first, let us tell you the story about a beautiful girl, our girl Chloë Maeve.
She’s almost 21 years old, tall and slim, beautiful on the outside, but on the inside too. Super smart, strong, funny, and caring. She loves her father so much and her two sisters with whom she has a special bond. She had started working at a bank a few months back, while still doing some modeling gigs here and there. She wanted to create a business to serve women and go back to college. She loves traveling so much. She has a ticket with her name on it to go to Las Vegas on her birthday. She’s super excited about this trip with one of her best friends. She recently moved to a loving house, where she’s healing from some rough moments. She just got a kitten, Benji, and she’s decorating her new room while enjoying dinners at home and going out with friends.
On Saturday, July 17th, 2021, approximately at 1:30 pm, she was going to a memorial to support one of her friends and the loss of their grandmother. On her way to Smyrna, TN., she had a car accident. Her car was struck on the driver's side door while making a turn by a young man that allegedly was driving a pickup truck at high speed on a backroad with very poor visibility. Apparently, he also didn't break or slowed down... We are still waiting for the police investigators to finish their reports.
That turn changed her life in seconds. After opening the car by cutting the doors with bolt cutters, and being taken on a helicopter to Vanderbilt Hospital's ER in Nashville, Tennessee, Chloë has been fighting for her life. She had lacerations to her internal organs, and some of them were badly damaged, a portion of her intestines had to be removed. She has a fractured pelvis (they can't operate yet). But most importantly she has a brain injury and related skull fracture that are still an issue until this day as she has yet to regain consciousness.
We are waiting for her to be much more stable, to have more tests, and to know what the next steps are for the amazing group of doctors and nurses at ICU Trauma Unit in Vanderbilt Hospital, who had been monitoring and taking care of her since that day.
As you can imagine, within our despair we are doing what’s possible in terms of actions to take. We are praying and a lot of people from all over the world and faiths have been keeping Chloë in their prayers. But her situation requires a lot not only physical and emotional but also financial care.
At this point, we don’t know what the tab's exact amount will be but for sure it will be high. Really high... The amount of the goal here is just an approximation but take into consideration that they told us that only the helicopter alone could cost between $40,000 and $70,000... Let alone the amount of long-term rehabilitation she will need over the next months and years.
We have a strong hope that she’ll get back to us soon, but we also know that this is going to be a long road of recovery and patience, which needs to be dedicated to her getting better every day through more medical care and therapy. All of these expenses are long-term challenges.
But we also know that this world is full of loving, generous, and caring people, that is why we will greatly appreciate any help that you can give to her and her recovery. So she can only be focused on her wellbeing and her future ahead. Any amount is greatly appreciated.

Estamos aquí porque necesitamos la ayuda de sus generosos corazones, pero primero, déjennos contarles la historia de una hermosa niña, nuestra niña Chloë Maeve.
Tiene casi 21 años, es alta y delgada, hermosa por fuera, pero también por dentro. Súper inteligente, fuerte, divertida y cariñosa. Ama a su padre y a sus dos hermanas con las que tiene un vínculo especial. Comenzó a trabajar en un banco hace unos meses, mientras todavía hacía algunos trabajos de modelo aquí y allá. tiene la visión de crear un negocio para servir a las mujeres y volver a la universidad. Le encanta viajar tanto. Tiene un boleto con su nombre para ir a Las Vegas en su cumpleaños. Está muy emocionada con este viaje al que irá con una de sus mejores amigas. Recientemente se mudó a una casa amorosa, donde se está recuperando de algunos momentos difíciles. Acaba de adoptar un gatito, Benji, y está decorando su nueva habitación mientras disfruta de cenas en casa y sale con amigos.
El sábado 17 de julio de 2021, aproximadamente a la 1:30 pm, se dirigía a un memorial para apoyar a una de sus amigas y la pérdida de su abuela. De camino a Smyrna, TN., Tuvo un accidente automovilístico. Su automóvil fue golpeado en la puerta del lado del conductor mientras fue impactada por un joven que supuestamente conducía una camioneta a alta velocidad en una carretera secundaria con muy poca visibilidad. Quien aparentemente, no frenó ni disminuyó la velocidad... Todavía estamos esperando que los investigadores policiales terminen sus informes.
Esto cambió su vida en segundos. Después de abrir el automóvil cortando las puertas con cortadores de metal y ser llevada en helicóptero a la sala de emergencias del Hospital Vanderbilt en Nashville, Tennessee, Chloë ha estado luchando por su vida. Tenía laceraciones en sus órganos internos, y algunos de ellos estaban gravemente dañados, hubo que extirpar una parte de sus intestinos. Tiene la pelvis fracturada (todavía no pueden operar). Pero lo más importante es que tiene una lesión cerebral y una fractura de cráneo relacionada que siguen siendo un problema hasta el día de hoy, ya que aún no ha recuperado la conciencia.
Estamos esperando que esté mucho más estable, que se hagan más pruebas y saber cuáles son los próximos pasos para el increíble grupo de médicos y enfermeras de la Unidad de Trauma de la UCI en el Hospital Vanderbilt, que la han estado monitoreando y atendiendo desde entonces.
Como podrán imaginar, dentro de nuestra desesperación, estamos haciendo todo lo posible en términos de acciones a tomar. Estamos orando y mucha gente de todo el mundo y religiones han mantenido a Chloë en sus oraciones. Pero su situación requiere mucho cuidado no solo físico y emocional, sino también financiero.
En este punto, no sabemos cuál será el monto exacto a pagar, pero seguro que será alto. Realmente alto... La cantidad de la meta aquí es solo una aproximación, pero tengan en cuenta que nos dijeron que solo el helicóptero podría costar entre $ 40,000 y $ 70,000 ... Además de la la cantidad de rehabilitación a largo plazo que necesitará durante los próximos meses y años.
Tenemos una gran esperanza de que despierte pronto, pero también sabemos que este será un largo camino de recuperación y paciencia, que debe dedicarse a mejorar cada día a través de más atención médica y terapia. Todos estos gastos son desafíos a largo plazo.
