This is for my daughter, Chloe. She’s been a Girl Scout since she was 5 years old (Daisy Scout). Today, she’s a senior in high school, and an ambassador to Girl Scouts, which is their highest rank. She’s taking a Girl Scouts destinations trip to New Mexico in early October for the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. Girl Scouts Destinations requires the girls have to apply for the program. It mimics a college application and my daughter was accepted right away. She has an economic hardship scholarship to attend once she’s there, but that doesn’t cover travel expenses. Without travel expenses, she might not be able to attend.
