Hello! I’m excited to announce that I recently scheduled top surgery (chest masculinization) for November 22, 2024. I’m less excited to announce that it’s really expensive! I have until mid-November to raise funds to pay for this surgery that I have wanted for years.
Bookselling is unfortunately not a lucrative industry, and the surgery costs about 1/3 of what I made last year working full time. I’m going to be saving as much as I possibly can in the coming months, in addition to applying for other forms of financial aid, but donations from my community are going to be one of the main sources of funds so I can get this surgery.
