My very talented, but very trusting daughter fell victim to an overpayment scam. Chloe has an opportunity to intern at two studios this summer in Los Angeles. She will be heading to Hollywood in less than a month where she will be taking classes and working in the movie industry.

Since she will be gone for the summer, she looked for someone to sublet her apartment. Unfortunately, the person she found ended up being a fraud, and when the check to cover the first month's rent arrived, it was for quite a bit more than she was expecting. In an effort to accommodate who she thought was another broke college student, she arranged to wire transfer the excess back to the sender. Now she is out thousands of dollars, has overdrawn her savings account, and has two rents to pay for the summer.

Chloe is hardworking and very deserving of the opportunity she has been given for these summer internships. She has learned a very hard lesson through this ordeal, and any help from friends or family will certainly go a long way to help her have the summer she deserves where she can learn and grow in her craft.
