Help Chloe get to Greece

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Trinity and I am a teacher at Poudre Global Academy in Fort Collins, Colorado. I teach a Mindfulness class to provide historically underserved and at-risk students with a safe space to tell the truth about their lives and grow their resiliency and determination to live a successful life.

One of my students, Chloe Fankhauser, is a brilliant 17-year-old, a former dancer, and a recovering addict.
Chloe is proud to share she is seven months sober, and attends Narcotics Anonymous (NA) every single day, working the steps and meeting with her sponsor and recovery coach.

Watch our 4 minute video so you can hear a bit of Chloe's story and get to know her.

As Chloe and I have gotten to know each other over this year, she has shared how hard it is to be the youngest person in NA, see people twice her age relapsing, and feel like her whole life revolves around the full-time job of sobriety.
Chloe is no different than you or I; she went through depression, and in her struggle to stay alive, she ended up addicted and in way over her head.

Every child is carrying something, and if we as a community show up to hold them, they don't have to carry it alone.

Research shows a huge part of moving from survival to thriving is to have something to look forward to, a perspective beyond the day-to-day grind.  This is why I want Chloe to experience the trip of a lifetime.

We invite you to help cover the cost for Chloe to go on an educational tour this summer to Greece with a group of seventeen other students and three chaperones, including myself.
This opportunity could not only be life-changing but life-saving for Chloe because it would help give her perspective on the great, big, beautiful world that awaits her while also connecting with her roots!
When Chloe heard about the possibility of the trip, she LIT UP with joy. It turns out Chloe was raised Greek Orthodox, and her whole mother's side of the family is Greek!

Chloe has shared that going to Greece would "give me hope."

Chloe works and goes to school full-time and is trying to save money for a car. She lives with her single momma, and there are not enough resources available for Chloe to be able to access a chance to travel.
The money raised will pay for her flight, meals, excursions, hotels, and daily tours around Greece, plus exploring a few of the Greek Islands.

We are trying to raise all funds by JUNE 1st! Help us send Chloe to Greece and show her that a whole community of people believe in her, support her, and will invest in her!

And please share this Go Fund Me with your communities so we can spread the word.

--Any additional funds raised beyond what we are asking for will be used to set up an ongoing program to offer historically underserved and at-risk youth hope for a better future by connecting them with life-changing experiences and supportive community.
