Hi, my name is Chloe, and I am a transgender Woman experiencing homelessness in Madison, Wisconsin. Despite being homeless, I still try to enjoy doing the things I love, such as hiking, bike rides, concerts, yoga, meditation. I also have career and education goals of becoming a certified medical assistant. I love to help people whenever I can, and this would make me feel so accomplished to have that kind of impact on society. I have a dog named Dobby that I care about more than almost anything, and I'm very blessed to have a friend taking care of her. Even with all of the help I've been getting, it would be very challenging to meet my basic needs in the Wisconsin winter. Wisconsin winters are known for being particularly brutal, especially if you don't have a warm place to sleep, as Madison's shelters are not very safe for transgender people. I won't be able to achieve this without help, and I have a goal of $2000. It may sound like a lot, but it is kind of a scarce amount for relocating, and I will be pinching pennies unless a miracle happens. These funds will be used for getting to the west coast(most likely California for the winter), food, hygiene products and other essentials. Any donation helps, and sharing will also be very helpful.
