My name is Chloe, and I am reaching out during one of the most difficult times of my life. I have just been re-diagnosed and re-staged with stage 2 cervical cancer, and I will be starting chemotherapy and radiation in the next few weeks. I will have surgery for a radiation implant as well as a port put in my chest. Until recently, I was thriving in a new job and managing a sober living house, but my diagnosis means I can no longer work or live where I am now. This sudden change has left me facing not only a serious health battle, but also the uncertainty of how I will afford a safe place to live and reliable transportation to my many medical appointments. Missing even one appointment could mean my cancer progresses, so it’s critical that I have the support I need to get through this.

My journey has not been easy. I am a survivor of severe domestic abuse and sex trafficking, and I have been sober and safe for eight months. I have worked so hard to rebuild my life, and now it feels like everything is falling apart again. On top of my health struggles, my children’s father and his girlfriend have disappeared with my kids, and my greatest hope is to recover and be reunited with them.
